Travel Journal

Hello everyone! I have a couple more pages in my travel journal to share with you today. I'm trying really hard to keep up while still on vacation and it's not always easy, but at least the writing is up to date. That's the most important, because it is too hard to remember it all once you're back home. None the less, I do try to get complete pages done including the pictures and scrapping part.

The difference with our road trips is that these relaxing vacations are sometimes so relaxing that I forget to take pictures. I'm ok with that. I mean, how many pics of the pool and shopping would you want in a journal? So as you can see below in the last image, I'll fix these days with a card that has a quote on it. The Simple Stories You Are Here is perfect for that too.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Paper Issues - Photo shoot

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing another layout that I've made at the Crop on the Cape, using the Simple Stories Life in Color collection. During the crop we've made a lot of pictures with the photo props Kathy made, it was hilarious. I printed a couple of them with my instax printer and this Here & Now paper was perfect to document this size's pics.

Looking at these pictures, I'm missing these girls like crazy. We have had so much fun and I wish I could have them living close to me, so we could have more of these weekends together!

Paper Issues - Negative Space challenge

Hello everyone! Last weekend we've had the online Spring Crop at Paper Issues and it was so much fun. I was also so lucky to spend this weekend with some of the Paper Issues girls at the Crop on the Cape, where we made some layouts for the challenges of the Paper Issues crop. I seriously had the best weekend ever. PI girls have become real friends over the years and it makes me so happy when I meet them in real life.

This layout is for the Negative Space challenge, which is a tough one for me. At the crop I only had instax pictures to work with and because of their small size I had a feeling it might be a little easier to join this challenge. I used the gorgeous Simple Stories You Are Here collection, which is even prettier in person. The picture is taken at the Amsterdam airport, right before I took off to Boston.

Today is the last day to link up your projects for the Spring Crop challenges. The prizes are amazing, so you don't want to miss out! You can find all the callenges overhere in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans facebook group.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Paper Issues - Spring Crop

Hello everyone! This weekend we're having an online Spring Crop in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans facebook group. We're having lots of fun challenges for you to play along, with prizes to win!

Today my challenge is up and it is a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. Below you see the Tic-Tac-Toe board, simply pick three items that make a Tic-Tac-Toe and use them on a paper project. For the PI free file you can use one of our free printables or cut files, you can find them all overhere in the store.
For my layout I actually used all the items, except cardstock and a PI free file. So I'm having three Tic-Tac-Toe's. I used the Amy Tangerine Better Together collection to document this picture taken at Panama City Beach. I also added wood veneer and an acrylic shape from Color Cast Designs.

We hope you'll join us, you can find all the challenges overhere in our facebook group. That's also the place for you to share your creations.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative weekend!

Paper Issues - Product Spotlight

Hello everyone! It's time for a Product Spotlight over at Paper Issues and today we're featuring Pink Paislee C'est la Vie. When I first saw this collection I loved it, but expected to have a hard time working with it. It turned out to be one of my favorite Pink Paislee collections and I regret that I didn't buy two of each paper.

On this layout I documented a picture from one of my Florida trips. This one is taken at Clearwater Beach, one of my favorite Florida locations. As I have mentioned before, I'm a real beach girl. I just don't always have the patience to lay down at the beach and I love any activity on the water.

Hop over to the Paper Issues blog to see more projects with the C'est la Vie collection from the other PI girls. You can find this collection overhere in the store, use code DANIELLE20 for 20% off!

Paper Issues - Sketchy Saturday

Hello everyone! It's Sketchy Saturday over at Paper Issues and we have this awesome sketch for you this month.

For my take on the sketch I used the gorgeous Maggie Holmes Bloom collection to document this picture of the Truman House. Visiting Seaside FL during our latest travels was already in the plans, but I had no idea that this gorgeous beach community was the set of The Truman Show. Walking around this town was like walking around in that movie and I loved it!

We would love for you to play along with this sketch challenge! You can link up your layout overhere in our challenge album on facebook. Can't wait to see what you'll create.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Paper Issues - Hugs

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a layout that I've made just for fun. This picture is an oldie from 5 years ago, but it feels like yesterday that I was swimming with these dolphins at Key Largo.

I used the Amy Tangerine Better Together collection and I think this fabulous black & white transparancy sheet was perfect to use as a background for this page. It's so fun and happy!

Don't forget to keep checking the Paper Issues store, lots of new products come in regularly! Use code DANIELLE20 for 20% off of your entire purchase!

You can grab this FREE cut file overhere in the Paper Issues store and link up your projects made with it overhere in our challenge album on Facebook.

For my layout I used the 'geek is the new sexy' card from the cut file to document these geeky pictures. All papers and embellishments are from the Pink Paislee C'est la Vie collection.

Check out the Paper Issues blog for more inspiration from the other PI girls. Can't wait to see what you'll create with this cut file!
