Paper Issues - Fab dish

Hi everyone! Today I have a layout to share for Paper Issues. For our current issue 'It's Hip to be Square' Kathy Skou designed this awesome cut file that you can download overhere for free!

I fell in love with this cut file right away, so I just had to play with it. I used the We R Memory Keepers Love Notes collection, which is so fun and colorful and I totally love the black alpha! The picture is taken in a restaurant in Pismo Beach, CA. It was one of the best desserts I've ever had: cinnamon tortilla's with a filling of banana and cheesecake and vanilla ice cream, caramel and strawberries on the side.

This is the cut file I used and we would love to see what you create with it. So download it overhere for free and share your project overhere at our current link party for your chance to win a mix of buttons from A Flair for Buttons!

You can find the We R Memory Keepers Love Notes collection overhere in the Paper Issues store. When you use code DANIELLE20 at check out, you'll get 20% off of your entire order!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

The Cut Shoppe - Out of this world

Hi everyone! Today I have a layout to share that I've made for The Cut Shoppe with one of the new cut files Over the Moon. I just had to use the 'out of this world' as a title for this picture. It's one of my fave pics taken during my latest California road trip, on top of Sentinel Dome.

It was quite a hike to get on top of the Sentinel Dome, but the view was amazing! It gives you a great view on both El Capitan and Half Dome. You can see El Capitan behind me in the picture.

For my layout I used the Amy Tangerine Stitched collection, two buttons from A Flair for Buttons and stamps and washi tape from Little.Miss.Evie.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Clique Kits - Pep Rally

Welcome to the Clique Kits February Pep Rally featuring our Punxsutawney kit. You should have arrived here from the very talented Lacey. If not, you can hop over to the Clique Kits blog to start your blog hop.

The February kit contains so many fun sweet treat elements, like ice cream cones, donuts and sprinkles. So, this month's challenge is to use something sweet in a project. I had the perfect picture of a donut with glace and sprinkles and everytime I look at it, I just want to take a bite!

I made this circle background in Silhouette Studio to represent the round shape of donuts and placed it over another patterned paper with pop dots to create a little 3D effect. I filled up some of the circles with other papers and stamped on it with a variety of stamps from Little.Miss.Evie.

Here's the line up for today:

Clique Kits - Red velvet

Hello everyone! Today I have another layout to share that I made with the Clique Kits February Punxsutawney kit. Looking at the Dear Lizzy Serendipity collection in this kit, I just can't help using pictures of my favorite sweet treats and one of them is the Red Velvet Cake cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory.

I also used some stamps and glitter enamel dots from Little.Miss.Evie. and wood drop chevrons from Pinkfresh Studio. To add a little more color to the white background, I added some watercolors.

The Cut Shoppe - Pier 39

Hi everyone! Today I have a layout to share that I made for The Cut Shoppe and I used the new Addicted to Love background cut file.

I'm not really a Valentine-y person, but I just can't resist the Crate Paper Valentine's collections. Last year they already had an awesome one and this year they nailed it again with the Kiss Kiss collection! The picture that I used is taken at Pier 39 in San Francisco. The 'Open Heart' is now permanently located at the bay end of the Pier and it's part of the Hearts of San Francisco collection, you can read more about it overhere.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Clique Kits - I biked the bridge

Hi everyone! I'm back today with another layout made with the Clique Kits February Punxsutawney kit. This kit is loaded with the Dear Lizzy Serendipity collection, which has a lot of pink in it. With this layout I wanted to show you that it is possible to avoid most of the pink and if you want, you can even create a boy's page with it! The title is made with some older Amy Tangerine chipboard letters that I painted black.

Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!
